But yea, the spike in meet ups is INSANE--but I think everyone's in the "...Shit! Summer's almost over!" strike-while-the-iron's-hot mind frame for meet ups.

I DID, THAT IS THE PROBLEM, OTHER PEOPLE WANT TO SEE ME TOO. I'm like, I want to go to every meetup because I love them and I love everyone but there is just other shit I need to do. :(

I hear ya. I'm trying to find a balance myself between you guys and my other friends--my schedule is SOOOO full right now.

Yeah, exactly. I'm not like HOW DARE YOU GUYS THROW PARTIES, I'm like but but but family lunches and other friends and also there's this whole thing where I was supposed to spend the summer helping with the apartment renovations and clearing out all the boxes of crap in my room/unofficial apartment storage space. LOL GUESS WHO STILL LIVES IN WHAT LOOKS LIKE AN ACTUAL SLUM. :[

I figure... people aren't going to be able to meet up much/at all after the summer is over. I don't think it was anyone's intention to have a billion meet ups this month (I thought we were only going to have two!).

It's not like I mind, I'm just like... akjfsakjfakf I can't do every single weekend in August and I WANT TO. But there is other stuff going on! And trying to balance my schedule is suddenly becoming a major AAAAUGH whereas it was previously a "oh, cool, stuff is happening."

The number of meetups this month and the intensity of them is insaaaaaaaaaaane but I do not even care because for the first time ever, I have a social life! AND IT IS AMAZING. Of course, I also really want to mix ya'all and some of my "regular" friends together, but I'm not sure that the room could contain that much awesome.
