It's not like I can say this was a surprise, but fuckity fuck fuck. I loved Eastwick. It was so much better than it had any right to be.

I've never done this before, but I would very seriously sign onto a Save Eastwick campaign if there were one. Unfortunately, the efforts I've seen have all been pretty lackluster, and I definitely don't have it in me to start anything major myself with all that's going on, nor am I tapped in enough to know if a big enough secret fanbase even exists for the show. Besides which, I have it on quite good authority that Certain Members of the Cast were well-prepared and are already starting work on other projects.

So, you know. Boo. :( I was even working on a fic for it. Two, even! I mean, I still will, but... boo. :(

I absolutely hate how shows are dropped so quickly these days. (Or maybe it was always this way and I just never noticed until recently.) I'll never, ever, ever forgive NBC for canceling Journeyman.
