Sorry for the multiple entries, but separately from the last post, I thought I should mention for my fellow skating fans that 1) the incredible Shizuka Arakawa has a twitter, and 2) I did a bunch of random translations over in this thread and then realized I should just make my own post and stop taking up strongplacebo's inbox.

Things we have learned: loves sweets, hates veggies, fangirls Johnny (I'm sorry, "Gaga-sama"), chills with Stéphane, and calls herself a penguin. You guys, I think the whole "Icy Heart" thing may be looking at a revamp.

Also, breaking news in this extremely important tweet from tonight:

"Kittens are so cute♪ Though I'm allergic, I want to play. And the shocking truth is, kitties are allergic to me. (LOL) The 4 cats are doing AGeyes [No idea what this is -- possibly she means Anne Geddes?] while they play... The one I yearn for is the white tiger ~ I want to meet one someday☆"

I kind of have embarrassing feelings about that last part. I'M SORRY, BUT I DO. SHE WOULD NOT BE THE FIRST ONE TO SAY "TIGER" INSTEAD OF "ZEBRA." Oh God, I have to go skate and cry now, don't I?

My Japanese is so bad! TBF, I haven't used the language consistently in, like... five years. But jpskating at Twitter corrected a few of my mistakes. I thought the "Stéphane's fan" was making a play on fan/fans, but I guess she was really talking about the Japanese skating fans. And I realize now, she meant that Johnny Gaga had more makeup stuff than her -- I thought she meant he was able to put the makeup on without leaning in.

I am just like, amazed at how she has the whole reputation of being cool and aloof-ish and then her twitter is all KITTENS :DDDD CAKE :DDDD LOL SKATING :DDDD and is just entirely adorable.
