Enterprise marathon last night was rad as hell, which was kind of a surprise, since I expected to hate it. SORRY FOR DOUBTING YOU, sparkly_stuff. Although really, my biggest takeaway from it was that Jonathan Archer is the Dudebro of Starfleet captains, and kind of sucks as an actual captain when he has to do stuff. On the other hand, the supporting cast (except freaking Malcolm Reed, who is like a cross between Bones and Bashir without the fun of either) is awesome. &Empress Sato;

DS9 Marathon! This Saturday! I am excite! I want to watch Julian Bashir run around and be stupid at people for many hours! My only question: Does anyone who's coming actually have DS9? Because I don't. Alternately, people should tell me what episodes they most want to see -- if we can get it down to like a list of ten, I can obtain the select DVDs.

Sorry for the multiple entries, but separately from the last post, I thought I should mention for my fellow skating fans that 1) the incredible Shizuka Arakawa has a twitter, and 2) I did a bunch of random translations over in this thread and then realized I should just make my own post and stop taking up strongplacebo's inbox.

Things we have learned: loves sweets, hates veggies, fangirls Johnny (I'm sorry, "Gaga-sama"), chills with Stéphane, and calls herself a penguin. You guys, I think the whole "Icy Heart" thing may be looking at a revamp.
