Okay, so seriously, ontd_startrek is an internet charity powerhouse right now. Since my last post the money has continued to pour in, and we're up to $10,000 right now, while the absolutely incredible starlady42 is about to kick in another $500 for 10,000 comments on the latest party post.

I mean, that's just amazing.

About halfway through the post I started posting videos from The West Wing, mostly just because it's been on my schedule while I've been sick and so is on my mind; but eventually I got to this video, and damn, I don't care if it's cheesy, it got me all kinds of choked up:
