Game of Thrones and other dreamy things

Dear Daenerys Targaryen:

I like you, do you like me? Check one:

GOSH I JUST LOVE HER SO MUCH. Her scenes in tonight's episode literally made me go "WOOOOOO."

However, I fear that yesterday, I cheated on my magical mystery dragon girlfriend with my new magical wonderhammer Asgardian boyfriend, Thor. Let me tell you about Thor: 1) Thor has a movie! It is a good movie! 2) Thor is SUPER DREAMY in this movie.

There is literally no better adjective to describe Chris Hemsworth's Thor. He's got those big blue Thor(/Kirk) eyes and that big Thor(/Kirk) smile and that romance cover Thor body (not so much a Kirk thing) and basically every time he smiled I quietly had the vapors. Oh, Thor. He is just so dreamy*. *fans self*

Plus, it really was an awesome movie. I LIKE THIS MOVIE, BRING ME ANOTHER.

Oh, speaking of Thor... ... Am I the only one who, when they were riding across the rainbow bridge into ice world at the very beginning, immediately had this playing in their head?

Anyone?

PS: Other things that are positively dreamy: Josh Holloway on Community and everyone on Parks and Recreation. EVERYONE. What a wonderful show that's been lately. *sigh*

The last few weeks have just been basically flawless. I love this new wave of happy post-cynical TV like that and Cougar Town. Those two put the biggest damn smile on my face every week. :D

(Ron's birthday! ♥)

You're making me think I should watch Cougar Town because that is totally one of my favorite things about Parks and Rec.

Leslie trolled him but GOOD. And then threw him the perfect party. ♥

Cougar Town ROCKS. I love that show. It's not of the same caliber as P&R, writing-wise, but it totally has the same sweet, happy vibe. All the characters just really love each other a lot and are really :D about everything and there's no cynicism at all about it (except occasionally from Ellie, who is the Ron of that show, e.g. she secretly loves them all just as much too).

You are making me excited to see Thor and to catch up on P&R. Both my dad and People magazine have been doing their best to spoil me for both, but THEY WILL NOT DETER. If anything I am more pumped now. :DDDDDDDD

I feel like both are basically impossible to spoil because they're both just like made of joy. It doesn't matter if you know every damn plot point, I dare you not to go all :DDDDD and seal-clapping at either one.

I not-so-quietly had the vapors. Thor, you delicious hunk of Asgardian wondermeat. Why did you not spend the entirety of that movie shirtless with low cut pants? Oh, right, because I'd get too uncomfortable in mine to pay attention to plot.

I can't believe I didn't think of the unicorn. I kept making too many jokes about Rainbow Road and Stargates.

Also. Also Heimdall. He needs, like, his own movie. It could just be him standing around, and I would still see it.
