Ugh you guys I don't know if I can come tonight after all. I feel (for reasons that many of you have probably already seen and I don't feel like repeating) really gross and exhausted and the whole mess has set my schedule back today so I don't even know if I'd make it out there before like, 11.

I kind of just want to curl up with Psych or something and fall asleep.

OKAY I WILL TRUST YOU ON THIS. (For some reason so many people remain confused even after explanations! Woe. BUT I WILL BE EXTRA PIMP AND EXPLAIN-Y.)

I have a feeling I'm going to insist on Seeing Is Believing at some point. Because despite using almost all the characters, it needs very little external explanation. But after Burning Down the House, natch. And yeah, a lot of the earlier seasons do require a lot of explanation. I'd love to show A Hawk and a Handsaw, but I think I'll just stick to RayK stuff for now. We'll see how it all plays out.

ROFL if I decide not to come and you need my assistance with the explanation, call me and I will assist.

See, I love Seeing is Believing, but I definitely think you need to watch at least a few before you see it just to understand why it's SO FUCKING CRAZY. Especially evil!hypnotist!Fraser.

OH MAN I DIDN'T EVEN THINK OF A HAWK AND A HANDSAW. NO YOU SHOULD SHOW THAT TOO, THAT'S A GREAT EPISODE EVEN WITH RAYV. And IIRC it takes like 0 explanation... is Dead Bob even in that?

Dead Bob is not in it, no. Just Fraser being...Fraser and RayV being RayV and everything just being made of AWESOME. (Trufax: The scene with the computer is something I caught once while channel surfing when I was like, eight, and I was like OMGWTFBQQ and it apparently made SUCH AN IMPRESSION that I still remember it. Oh la.) I have so much love for that episode, it's one of my favorites.

I will still start with Burning, for sure, and move on to the others if people like it enough (AND I DO NOT KNOW WHAT I WILL DO IF THEY DON'T, OMG, WHAT IF THEY HAVE NO TASTE) though I've noticed that Seeing Is Believing and Dead Guy Running tend to go down pretty well with people who have little exposure to the show.

And it looks like you should be calling us anyway at some point! VOCAL LENS FLAIRS ARE AWESOME.

ROFL oh the computer scene. That scene skims the very edge of my "NO YOU CANNOT DO THAT" filter (as opposed to say, wires in ears, which flies right past it). I was always really surprised that Dead Bob wasn't used in that episode -- what better way to make Fraser look like a nutjob than to have him talking to people no one can see? Although I guess there's something to be said for him being completely straightforward and having people take him for the nut that he is.

Yeah, Dead Guy Running is usually my second go-to after Burning. I have some friends who swear by Spy vs. Spy, but frankly, I think exposure to that brand of insanity should be limited until well after one is already watching the show. >_>;;;

BUT I MIGHT COME ANYWAY JSYK THINGS ARE BETTER NOW

Dead Guy Running is another good intro episode, BTW, if you don't want to start with Burning, although it does still require the "so this guy is pretending to be a guy who looks nothing like him" explanation.
