ONTD_ST saves lives

ontd_startrek's fundraising drive for Haiti, going on right over here.
I have to give our no-longer-so-little-comm credit: this is the third fundraising drive in less than a year. Earlier, ONTD_ST raised the money to save a member's dog, and also raised money to sink a well in Africa. Now they've raised nearly $6000 in a day! So, you know, the power of fandom and all. *\o/*
I'm still languishing, but now begin a fresh barrage of doctor's visits and testing, so hopefully soon I'll have some good news. *crosses fingers* In the meantime, I am... mostly watching The West Wing. I guess it could be worse -- it could be Jersey Shore.
